Years ago I watched a co-worker go around and empty the trashcans every
day, even if they only had a few pieces of paper in them. Up until that time, I
thought the trash container should be emptied only when it was full.
We don't have to wait until our lives are full of trash before we try to
empty them. What's even more amazing is that God doesn't expect us to empty our
trash before we come to him. He says to humanity, "Come as you are."
But then He loves us too much to leave us there.
